The Dynamx™ DX291 series flow control valves are electronic, pressure-independent valves designed for variable-flow HVAC systems. Powered by patented Dynamic Flow Networking® (DFN) technology, they simultaneously provide automatic hydronic balancing and precise real-time flow control, ensuring optimal performance regardless of system pressure fluctuations.
A true "5-in-1" solution, the DX291 series combines the functions of a control valve, dynamic balancing valve, shut-off valve, energy monitoring unit, and integrated room temperature controller (optional). Specifically designed for chilled ceilings or fan coil units (2-pipe systems), it incorporates flow and temperature difference (ΔT) measurement, as well as flow and energy data logging.
Commissioning is simplified thanks to built-in Bluetooth® communication, while the MP MultiProtocol feature ensures easy integration into building management systems via Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP.
Constructed from bronze/brass with ISO 228/1 flat-face connections, the DX291 series offers a high-performance solution for HVAC applications, featuring a nominal pressure rating of 16 bar (PN16) and an operating water temperature range of +5°C to +90°C (non-condensing).
